Helping Hand Hongkong Bank Foundation Lok Fu Care Home: Infirmary Unit Services

Facing the decline of elders' physical functions or chronic illnesses, family members often worry most about frequent hospital visits and the difficulties of adapting to a new environment. Helping Hand deeply understands the elders' desire for "ageing in place." Our Helping Hand Hongkong Bank Foundation Lok Fu Care Home is recognised by the Social Welfare Department to establish an Infirmary Unit specially designed to care for frail elders, providing 20 dedicated places. Infirmary Units are an integral part of some subvented care and attention homes featuring special care facilities, allowing elders to receive infirmary-level continuum of care.
