About the role
Helping Hand is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT leader to lead the Agency's technology function and support organisational growth, operational excellence, and service enhancement through effective use of technology. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across the Agency's IT operations, cybersecurity, digital transformation initiatives, and technology governance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Agency's overall IT strategy and technology roadmap
- Oversee cybersecurity, information security, and IT risk management
- Drive digital transformation and technology improvement initiatives
- Optimise the use of Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications to support organisational effectiveness
- Ensure reliable and secure IT infrastructure and systems across service locations
- Manage IT projects, budgets, and external vendors
- Strengthen data governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity arrangements
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO and senior management on technology-related opportunities and risks
- Undertake occasional travel to the Agency's service unit in Mainland China as required
About you
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years' relevant experience with proven leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud technologies, Microsoft 365, IT infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in NGO, healthcare, elderly care, or social service sectors will be an advantage.
- Willing to travel occasionally to the Agency's service unit in Mainland China as required.
- Candidates who can assume duty immediately will be preferred.
